Presented by Swami Ahimsadhara who has been practising yoga since 1975. For many years she managed the Hobart Yoga & Meditation Centre, teaching a wide range of classes. She has written widely on yogic topics and has just returned from two years in India where she edited hatha yoga books and lectured at Bihar School of Yoga (BSY). Swami Ahimsadhara is a popular teacher, known for her warmth, humour, depth of experience and special gift with words.

The workshop will be based on Ahimsadhara’s book Yoga Day by Day which focuses on the yoga capsules given by Swami Niranjan for daily and weekly practice. These include asana, pranayama, shatkarma, meditation, yoga nidra, yama/niyama (guidelines for living), SWAN, tree puja and havan – a perfect blend from several branches of yoga.

A great opportunity to either get started with your own yoga home practice or to deepen and extend your current sadhana.

Morning and afternoon tea provided. Bring a vegetarian plate to share for lunch, a yoga mat, cushion & rug
