Why You Need Yoga in Winter

 Winter has arrived but don’t let the chilly air get in the way of coming to yoga.

It’s crucial in the cooler months to bring up your body heat, keeping the inner fire (Agni) burning, to encourage a healthy metabolism and strong immune system. Regular yoga practice will also assist to maintain energy levels and help to stay more mentally alert.

The movement and heat generated from the yoga practices help muscles to stay relaxed, maintain joint mobility, increasing circulation and loosen stiff joints; all essential at this time of year.

There are only two more weeks of term. Classes will be on the Public Holiday next Monday night. If you've missed classes during the term please feel free to make up missed classes in an appropriate level class. For those who've not missed a class come and get some extras for free.
