Inspiring Yoga Weekend in August

Weekend of Yoga workshops on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August at Russell Vale Community Hall

Presented by Swami Muktibodhananda who lived for many years in India imbibing the teachings of yoga. She is a renowned author of Swara Yoga, Hatha Yoga Pradapika and Energy the Spark of Life and Universal Goddess. Swami Mukti now lives in Brisbane with her family and travels worldwide bringing the ancient science of yoga to a modern audience.

Balance Your Life  Saturday 5th August 9am to 4.30pm 

- Learn how to balance your brain: left/right, busy/resting, intellectual/intuitive

- Understand the yogic science of the brain and the breath (Swara Yoga)

- Develop awareness of your physical and mental rhythms and enable them to flow more smoothly

- Harmonize your body, mind and energy

The workshop will include asanas, pranayama, mudras, meditation and Yoga Nidra


Gayatri Sadhana Morning Sunday 6th August 9am - 12.30pm

Learn and practise the various sadhana techniques ascribed to Gayatri mantra, primordial Shakti energy manifesting in all existence.

The purpose of practising Gayatri mantra and meditation is to:

*protect the practitioner

*purify the practitioner

*enlighten the practitioner's mind

*empower the practitioner with material and spiritual benefits.

The workshop will include: Gayatri pranayama breathing, Gayatri mudra gestures, Gayatri mantra chanting, Gayatri meditation and trataka meditation.
